Dubai has launched a new initiative to grant golden visas to distinguished teachers in the private school sector, recognizing their significant contributions to the city’s educational landscape.
“We have authorized the issuance of Golden Visas for educators who have excelled in Dubai’s private education sector,” announced Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, in a social media post on World Teachers’ Day.
He commended teachers for their commitment to nurturing future leaders and imparting essential values, underscoring their role as vital partners in realizing Dubai’s ambitious Education Strategy E33 and in shaping the city’s future.
Sheikh Hamdan also expressed appreciation for teachers’ dedication to guiding and shaping young minds.
In its initial phase, the program will honor outstanding educators from early childhood centers, private schools, and international higher education institutions, as reported by Arab media.
Recognition is awarded based on educators’ academic achievements, contributions to enhancing education quality, positive evaluations from the educational community, and their dedication to helping students achieve better academic outcomes and recognized credentials.
This initiative seeks to attract skilled educators to Dubai, inviting them to play a crucial role in advancing the emirate’s educational future. It aligns with the education strategy for the next decade, focusing on the importance of bringing in exceptional teachers committed to fostering lifelong learning.
