LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Students from the Lahore Garrison Education System have set a new world record by forming the largest human flag, surpassing India’s previous record of 7,368 participants, which was recognized by Guinness World Records earlier this year.
In a powerful show of unity and patriotism, over 10,000 Pakistani students joined together to create the flag, breaking India’s record by a wide margin.
The record-breaking achievement took place during the Lahore Youth Festival, organized by the Punjab government.
Following this accomplishment, students celebrated with spirited dances to patriotic songs, marking the occasion with enthusiasm.
The Lahore Youth Festival will continue with its final competitions at Fortress Stadium in Lahore Cantt from November 8 to 10, with grand opening and closing ceremonies scheduled for these dates.
