The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted severe cold across most cities today, with snowfall expected in mountainous regions and partially cloudy skies in several areas.
Frigid winds from Balochistan have intensified the cold in Karachi, where nighttime temperatures have dropped to 12 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, northern areas remain gripped by extreme cold, with mountains blanketed in snow.
Over the past 24 hours, Skardu and Astor recorded the country’s lowest temperatures at minus 11 degrees Celsius, while Hunza reached minus 6 degrees Celsius.
