A Turkish woman, Gozde Dogan, has set an extraordinary world record by crushing five watermelons with her thighs in just 60 seconds, according to UPI.
Guinness World Records shared a video of Dogan’s incredible feat on their Instagram account on Friday.
In the clip, Dogan is seen sitting between two rows of watermelons, methodically grabbing each one and using the sheer strength of her thighs to smash them. After each crushing, she clears the mess and moves on to the next watermelon, completing the challenge with remarkable focus and speed.
Following her accomplishment, Dogan was awarded a Guinness World Records plaque and declared “officially amazing,” becoming the first woman to hold the title for the most watermelons crushed with thighs in 60 seconds in the female category.
This record is reminiscent of a similar achievement in 2017 by Iranian athlete Ashkan Rohollah Doshmanziari, who made history by smashing three watermelons faster than anyone before him.
In 2023, Doshmanziari also set another unique record by successfully stacking four watermelons on top of one another.
Dogan’s achievement adds a new chapter to the world of unconventional records, showcasing both her strength and determination.
