A 15-year-old girl from Karachi, who was reportedly kidnapped from the city’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, was successfully recovered from Naushehro Feroze.
The girl had been missing since January 17, with her family lodging a formal complaint at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station, prompting immediate investigations. Police expanded their search to several areas, with Naushehro Feroze emerging as a significant lead.
The girl has now been found, and Karachi police are organizing her return to the city after her recovery from Naushehro Feroze district. Authorities are also interrogating individuals suspected of involvement in the kidnapping.
Further evidence is being collected to clarify the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance and to identify any individuals who may have assisted in her abduction.
The girl’s safe return has brought relief to her family, who had been anxiously awaiting news. Police have assured that she will be reunited with her family after completing the necessary legal procedures.
Karachi has seen an uptick in kidnapping incidents recently. Earlier, on January 15, two young boys, Aliyan (5) and Ali (6), went missing in the Garden area of the city. Their families had filed an FIR with the police under kidnapping and abduction charges. The boys were last seen playing outside their homes before they disappeared.
