At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, President Asif Ali Zardari will embark on a state visit to China from February 4 to 8, 2025.
During his stay in Beijing, President Zardari will hold discussions with top Chinese leaders, including President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The talks will focus on strengthening Pakistan-China ties, particularly in economic and trade cooperation, counter-terrorism efforts, and the advancement of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Both sides will also exchange views on regional and global geopolitical developments and their collaboration in multilateral forums.
As a special guest of the Chinese government, President Zardari will attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.
This visit reaffirms the tradition of high-level engagements between Pakistan and China, underscoring their commitment to the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and mutual support on key issues. It also highlights the growing focus on economic collaboration under CPEC and shared efforts to promote regional peace and stability.
