Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that no force can expel the people of Gaza from their “eternal” homeland, stating that Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem are integral parts of Palestine.
In his comments to reporters in Istanbul before his trip to Malaysia, Erdogan asserted, “No one has the power to remove the people of Gaza from their eternal homeland, which has existed for thousands of years. Palestine, including Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, belongs to the Palestinians.”
Erdogan also dismissed proposals by the US administration regarding Gaza, claiming they were made under pressure from the Zionist regime and were not worthy of discussion. He referred to US President Donald Trump’s suggestion to relocate Palestinians as unworthy of attention.
The Turkish president also praised Hamas for keeping its promises in the ongoing prisoner exchanges with Israel, despite Israel’s attempts to disrupt the process.
On Syria, Erdogan condemned the Assad regime, stating that mass graves being discovered across Syria are revealing the brutal reality of the regime’s actions. He expressed hope for Syria’s future stability under the leadership of President Ahmed Alsharaa and suggested that peace could soon return to the country.
Erdogan reaffirmed his stance that there is no place for terrorist groups in Syria, stressing that President Alsharaa will continue to combat such organizations.Attach
