Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to protecting Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Addressing a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he stressed that Pakistan would never allow any threat to Saudi security.
Investor Confidence in Pakistan
The prime minister also spoke about his engagements at the World Government Summit in Dubai, where he met with leaders from Sri Lanka, Bosnia, and Kuwait.
During his visit, he held discussions with Pakistani investors in Dubai, who shared their perspectives and urged him to further enhance the country’s business climate.
Assuring them of Pakistan’s economic stability, PM Shehbaz emphasized that the country is now focused on accelerating growth.
“We are working tirelessly to drive economic expansion. I invite you to visit Pakistan, present your proposals, and we will actively consider and implement them,” he told investors.
He also met with DP World’s CEO to discuss the Karachi-to-Pipri project, which is now set for execution.
Pakistan’s Stand on Gaza
At the summit, PM Shehbaz strongly condemned Israeli aggression in Gaza, reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
He highlighted that 50,000 Palestinians had been martyred, describing it as one of history’s worst genocides.
Calling for a peaceful resolution, he emphasized the need for post-war reconstruction and ensuring Palestinians have opportunities to rebuild their lives.
Enduring Pakistan-Saudi Ties
Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for Saudi Arabia on international platforms, PM Shehbaz described the Kingdom as a brotherly nation and a trusted ally.
“Pakistan has always stood by Saudi Arabia and will continue to do so. We will never allow any harm to its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he asserted.
His remarks underscored Pakistan’s dedication to regional stability, economic progress, and strong diplomatic relations with key allies.
