Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir addressed students in a special session, underscoring the vital role of youth in maintaining national unity and defense. During his remarks, the Army Chief expressed his satisfaction with engaging the younger generation and reaffirmed that as long as the nation, especially its youth, stands united with the Pakistan Army, the country will remain invincible, and the Army will continue to stand strong.
General Munir spoke on national security, stating, “We fight like comrades, and for us, the identity of Pakistan is paramount. We are fighting against miscreants who twist the true teachings of Islam.” He emphasized that extremist elements are misusing religious teachings to spread a false narrative. The Army Chief reiterated the unbreakable bond between the Pakistani people, particularly the youth, and the armed forces, adding, “Any attempts to sow division between the military and the public have failed in the past and will continue to fail.”
Highlighting the core values of the nation, General Munir declared, “We take pride in our religion, culture, and traditions. Pakistan’s constitution begins with ‘Sovereignty belongs to Allah alone,’ and we will not let extremist ideologies dictate our future.”
The Army Chief also praised the resilient people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan for their steadfast commitment, describing them as a formidable force standing firm against terrorism.
