Nawabzada Jamal Raisani has strongly criticized Opposition Leader Omar Ayub for his recent remarks regarding Balochistan, rejecting claims that some districts in the province do not fly the national flag.
Ayub’s statement sparked immediate backlash, with Raisani dismissing it as misleading and baseless. He asserted that every child in Balochistan is a proud and patriotic Pakistani, and such claims create unnecessary divisions.
In a sharp rebuttal, Raisani questioned how Ayub, who comes from a military background, could make such statements about Balochistan. He stressed that these remarks fail to represent the true sentiments of the province’s people.
He further emphasized that the people of Balochistan remain unwavering in their commitment to Pakistan, and any suggestion otherwise is detached from reality. According to Raisani, Balochistan has always stood by the nation, and such narratives do a disservice to the province’s contributions and sacrifices.
Calling for responsible discourse on national matters, Raisani urged politicians to refrain from making statements that fuel misconceptions and create unnecessary controversy. He maintained that Balochistan’s patriotism is unquestionable, and any attempts to portray a different image must be strongly countered.
