The pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice has alleged that India’s intelligence agency, RAW, orchestrated the deadly attack on a passenger train in Balochistan, warning that failure to hold India accountable could lead to further escalations.
Accusations Against India
Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a leader of Sikhs for Justice, claimed that India is waging a covert war against Pakistan. He urged international organizations to take action against India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and RAW, accusing them of sponsoring terrorism in the region.
“India under Modi is not just a regional threat but a terrorist state,” Pannun asserted, alleging that Indian agencies are involved in targeted assassinations, extremism, and destabilization efforts across neighboring countries. He warned that unchecked Indian actions could lead to even deadlier attacks.
Details of the Jaffar Express Attack
The accusations follow the brutal assault on the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express in Balochistan’s Bolan district.
Heavily armed militants, reportedly linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), attacked the train, took passengers hostage, and engaged in a prolonged standoff with Pakistani security forces.
A two-day military operation led to the elimination of all 33 attackers, while the remaining hostages were rescued. However, the attack resulted in the deaths of 21 passengers and four security personnel.
Foreign Involvement Allegations
Security sources indicated that the attackers were in direct communication with handlers in Afghanistan, raising further concerns about foreign involvement in Pakistan’s security challenges.
Pakistan has long accused India of backing insurgent groups in Balochistan to destabilize the country.
Calls for Global Action
Pannun’s allegations add to the growing international scrutiny of India’s intelligence activities, particularly following reports of Indian agents targeting Sikh separatists abroad.
He called for diplomatic and security sanctions against RAW, urging world powers to intervene before the situation escalates further.
“The world must stop ignoring India’s state-sponsored terrorism,” he warned.
