Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar narrowly escaped a firing attack near Khenjo, Dharki, on Sunday.
According to Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, unidentified assailants opened fire on his convoy, leaving three to four people injured.
“Our vehicles were attacked, and several individuals were injured in the incident. The police have been notified and are responding,” he said.
DSP Obaro, Abdul Qadir Soomro, confirmed the attack, stating that police forces from Obaro, Dharki, and Khenjo had been deployed to the area.
“I am en route to the crime scene. Preliminary reports indicate that three security guards were injured during the attack,” DSP Soomro added.
Authorities are investigating the motives behind the attack, and security in the region has been heightened.
