Saudi authorities have reported that a total of 122,286,712 worshippers visited the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah during the blessed month of Ramadan. Eng. Ghazi Al-Shahrani, CEO of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, shared these figures, highlighting the significant number of people who performed religious duties during this period.
According to Al-Shahrani, 16,558,241 individuals performed Umrah, while 92,132,169 worshippers visited the Grand Mosque in Makkah, and 30,154,543 gathered at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
In his message, Al-Shahrani extended his heartfelt congratulations for Eid Al-Fitr and expressed deep gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their leadership. He also thanked all those involved in serving the guests of Allah, praying that their efforts be rewarded.
