Islamabad: Farzana Altaf Shah, the Director General of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has been suspended from her position.
The Ministry of Climate Change issued an official notification confirming her suspension. According to the notification, Shah, a Grade 20 officer, has been suspended for an initial period of four months, with the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The suspension is in accordance with the Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules, 2020.
