Funeral prayers in absentia were held at the Central Jamiat Ahle Hadith Pakistan for civilians martyred in recent acts of Indian aggression, as the nation mourns the loss of innocent lives.
The prayers were led by the organization’s Secretary General, Senator Dr. Hafiz Abdul Karim, and attended by senior religious and political figures, including Senator Abdul Kareem. In his remarks, Senator Kareem strongly condemned the Indian government’s actions, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of committing grave injustices by targeting unarmed civilians.
He emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces had responded with strength and precision, successfully downing an Indian aircraft in defense of national sovereignty.
Senator Kareem reiterated the unwavering support of the Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith for the Pakistani military and the people, standing in solidarity during this period of heightened tension and loss.
Ahmed Mir, son of the late Professor Sajid Mir, also attended the gathering, expressing shared grief and unity with the bereaved families.
