Saudi Arabian Airlines has resumed flight operations to Pakistan following a ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India.
A spokesperson for the airline confirmed that flight SV-704 departed from Jeddah to Karachi, marking the restart of services. The return leg, designated as Hajj flight SV-3705, will bring passengers back to Jeddah from Karachi.
The resumption comes after a four-day conflict between Pakistan and India ended with a ceasefire agreement. In the wake of this development, several UAE-based airlines have also announced partial restoration of their services to both countries. Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Air Arabia released updated flight schedules early on May 11, 2025, noting that further operations would depend on evolving conditions.
The Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has confirmed that airspace across the country has been fully restored. An updated Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has also been issued.
“All airports nationwide are operating normally,” a PAA spokesperson stated. “Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest flight schedules.”
