The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially revealed the schedule for the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup, set to take place in England from June 12 to July 5.
A total of 12 teams will participate in the highly anticipated tournament, which will begin with the opening match on June 12, where host nation England will face Sri Lanka.
One of the most eagerly awaited fixtures, the showdown between arch-rivals Pakistan and India, is scheduled for June 14.
The teams have been divided into two groups for the initial stage of the competition:
- Group A: Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, India, and two qualifier teams
- Group B: West Indies, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and two qualifier teams
The tournament will culminate in a grand finale at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground, setting the stage for an electrifying conclusion to one of the premier events in international women’s cricket.
