The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has earned international acclaim at the Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 (RIAT25), one of the world’s most prestigious military airshows, held at RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom. The event featured over 30 participating countries showcasing advanced military aviation technology.
In a significant achievement, PAF’s indigenously developed JF-17C Block III fighter jet was awarded the prestigious “Spirit of the Meet” trophy. The latest iteration of the JF-17 Thunder series—jointly developed by Pakistan and China—stood out for its exceptional flight performance, advanced avionics, and precision maneuvering, drawing praise from international judges and spectators alike.
At the same time, PAF’s C-130 Hercules transport aircraft won the “Concours d’Elegance” award, recognizing its best overall appearance and presentation. The aircraft featured a custom paint scheme that celebrated Pakistan’s operational legacy and air force history, turning heads throughout the event.
These awards not only underscore Pakistan’s growing prowess in military aviation but also highlight the technical capabilities and global appeal of its air fleet on an international platform.
