Chery has taken a major step in Pakistan’s automotive sector by launching the locally assembled Tiggo 7 PHEV (CKD). This marks the start of domestic assembly for the SUV at Chery’s local manufacturing facility, signaling a significant milestone for Pakistan’s hybrid and electric vehicle market.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV delivers a combined 342 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque, powered by an 18.3 kWh battery. This SUV offers both performance and efficiency, catering to the growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles in Pakistan.
Performance and Range
The Tiggo 7 PHEV provides an electric-only range of 77 kilometers, while its combined range reaches 1,020 kilometers, supported by a 60-liter fuel tank. The vehicle supports 40 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 30 to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes. Meanwhile, AC 6.6 kW charging takes roughly three hours to complete.
This combination of fuel and electric power makes the Tiggo 7 PHEV a practical choice for both city driving and long-distance travel, positioning it competitively in the hybrid SUV segment.
Interior and Comfort Features
Inside, the Tiggo 7 PHEV is equipped with a 24.6-inch curved dual screen and a Sony 8-speaker audio system, enhancing both entertainment and connectivity. The SUV rides on 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, adding a sporty aesthetic.
The cabin is designed for luxury and comfort, featuring heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charger. These features ensure a premium experience for both drivers and passengers.
Safety and Technology
Safety has been prioritized, with the Tiggo 7 PHEV offering eight airbags and a PM 2.5 smog protection filter. These features provide enhanced protection for occupants while maintaining clean air quality inside the cabin.
The combination of advanced safety systems and hybrid technology positions the Tiggo 7 PHEV as a modern, reliable SUV option in Pakistan.
