LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Lahore police have arrested a Karachi’s notorious shooter from Lahore, who is involved in 19 murders in Karachi.
Wasi Iqbal, the shooter, was arrested from Lahore today. Wasi was called from Karachi by a Lahore-based bookmaker named Bhandar for targeted killing.
According to police, Wasi Iqbal was involved in 19 murder cases and has served in Sukkur Jail in 14 cases. The name on his identity card is Arman Taslim.
Bookmaker Bhandar belongs to a shooter group in Lahore. He introduced Wasi Iqbal to the shooter group in Lahore. Lahore police arrested Wasi Iqbal before he could hit his next target.
Earlier, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Sindh police arrested a target killer ‘associated’ with Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L) from Karachi’s Korangi.
According to Incharge CTD, a raid was conducted in Korangi to arrest the absconding target killer identified as Sagheer Siddiqui, who was wanted in many heinous crimes to the police.
