LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: According to doctors of Shaukat Khanum Hospital, four bullets hit the leg of PTI chairman Imran during assassination attempt on Thursday.
Doctors have removed three bullets from the leg of Khan while the fourth one just hit the outer skin.
Imran Khan, who sustained bullet injuries during attempt on his life on Thursday afternoon, underwent surgery at his Shaukat Khanum Hospital.

According to doctors, four bullets hit on the leg of Imran Khan _ three penetrated inside the leg while the fourth slightly injured Khan.
Assailants opened straight fire on Imran Khan, Senator Faisal Javed and other PTI leaders who were present on the container during long-march in Wazirabad. Imran Khan and Faisal Javed are among nearly a dozen people who have sustained bullet injuries.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, head of the medical team told media persons that the condition of Imran Khan is stable. PTI chief’s blood pressure and other vital signs are normal, he added.
Dr Faisal said Imran Khan underwent an emergency evaluation that included x-rays and scans, that some bullet fragments were found in his legs, and that the right side of one leg’s “tibia” bone was slightly chipped.
In response to a query, he stated that two additional injured people had also been transported to the Shaukat Khanum Hospital where they were receiving medical care.

Dr. Faisal responded to a different query by stating that the medical staff included orthopedics, surgeons, and other pertinent specialists.
Although the procedure was simple, it took some time to ensure that Imran Khan’s leg was completely free of all foreign objects, according to hospital sources.
A team of doctors led by Dr. Faisal Sultan will reexamine the PTI chief in the morning after the PTI chief underwent CT Scan, X-Rays, and other tests at the hospital during the evening.
