The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cybercrime Wing has chosen to contact the Lahore-based YouTuber accused of leaking compromising footage of the late televangelist Aamir Liaquat.
The suspect is accused of posting private videos of the late TV host on the internet.
According to reports, Fazeel, the suspect, was Liaquat’s personal secretary and the guardian of all of his video archives.

While the cybercrime unit has decided to reinterview detained suspects, the YouTuber will be questioned about the source of the related videos.
Dania Shah, Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s widow, was arrested earlier this month by the FIA Cybercrime Wing for allegedly leaking and making popular private videos of Aamir Liaquat without his permission.
Shah’s bail request was denied by a Karachi local court, and she is being held by the FIA.
Aamir Liaquat Husain, a lawmaker and television personality, died at his home in Khudadad Colony.
His domestic staff reported that he was not feeling well night before his death, but he did not seek medical attention.
His condition worsened in the morning, when he was taken to the Aga Khan University Hospital and pronounced dead.
Aamir Liaquat’s body was brought to the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre’s emergency ward around 3 p.m., according to Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, and he was declared dead on arrival.
The family refused to have an autopsy performed while the body was transferred to the mortuary for completion of medico-legal formalities, she said.
Aamir was also a regular on television, hosting religious shows such as ‘Aalim Online’ on Geo News before pioneering Ramazan transmissions on various TV channels.
In 2018, he joined the PTI and was elected MNA from Karachi.
