Lahore High Court reserves its verdict on Imran Khan’s bail request: Cases registered on May 9
ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court reserved its verdict on PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s plea. seeking pre-arrest bail in cases registered against him on May 9.
The former prime minister and PTI chief was arrested on May 9 in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case.
Many cases have been registered against Imran Khan after nationwide violence that broke out soon after his arrest in the corruption case in Islamabad.

The Punjab government’s lawyer opposed the bail plea arguing that it was inadmissible.
“Imran Khan hasn’t even appeared in the court and seeking protective bail,” the lawyer maintained
However, Imran Khan’s lawyer argued that the former prime minister was seeking pre-arrest bail and not protective bail. Khan’s lawyer requested the court to transfer the case to a larger bench.
PTI chief claims he will be imprisoned for 10 years in a sedition case
Meanwhile, on Monday PTI chief Imran Khan claims he will be jailed for 10 years in a sedition case in the “London Plan”
Former prime minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan claimed that under the “London Plan,” he will be jailed for 10 years on sedition charges.
Imran Khan leveled these serious allegations in his Tweets.

“So now the complete London Plan is out. Using the pretext of violence while I was inside the jail, they assumed the role of judge, jury, and executioner. The plan now is to humiliate me by putting Bushra begum in jail and using some sedition law to keep me inside for the next ten years,” Imran Khan said.
