French Footballer Karim
French footballer Karim Benzema wrote “The one truth” as he shared a video from his Umrah in Saudi Arabia’s Makkah on all his social media platforms.
The video, accompanied by the hashtags #alhamdulillah and emojis of prayers, love, and the Saudi Arabia flag, got over three million views on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram.
In the video, with the holy Kaaba in the background, Benzema exclaimed, “Mashallah, the best of the best. Alhamdulillah [praise be to God].” He also posted a story on his Instagram page.
Benzema recently joined Saudi Arabia’s Pro League Al-Ittihad Club in June, signing a three-year contract after bidding farewell to Real Madrid, where he had played for 14 years.
Having made his debut with the club last month, the French striker is among the notable names who have joined the club, following in the footsteps of Portuguese footballer who joined Al-Nassr.

Judge’s wife arrested in maid torture case
Meanwhile, Islamabad police arrested a Judge’s wife, Somia Asim, who tortured a minor house-maid in Islamabad last month.
A local court in Islamabad cancelled interim bail of Somia Asim and ordered police to arrest her. Somia Asim is the primary suspect in the torture case on her minor maid, Rizwana.
Somia is the wife of the administrative officer at the Islamabad Judicial Academy. A day earlier, she rejected the allegations of torture against her.
She gave a new twist to the case and asserted that the teenage Rizwana was never a domestic worker in their household.
