The G20 leaders are currently exploring reforms to the international debt architecture, aiming to tackle the mounting debt burdens in numerous countries. Finding sustainable solutions for debt problems is essential to prevent economic crises.
Another topic under discussion within the G20 is the regulation of cryptocurrencies. Geopolitical uncertainties are also on the G20’s radar, especially concerning their impact on food and energy security.
The G20 is evaluating how global instability, including the conflict in Ukraine, could affect the accessibility and affordability of vital resources.
Despite these crucial issues, the G20 has faced challenges in issuing joint statements due to a deep division regarding language related to the war in Ukraine.
