Special Plane
ISLAMABAD: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) granted permission for a special aircraft carrying PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif to land in Pakistan. The CAA Director of Transport issued a notification to this effect.
In preparation for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan on October 21, the PML-N chartered a special plane for the occasion.
PML-N leaders have engaged a private aviation company to secure a chartered plane service, flying from Dubai to Islamabad.
Additionally, PML-N has enlisted the services of a private company to arrange the showering of rose petals during the party’s rally at the Minar-e-Pakistan upon Sharif’s return.
A Cessna plane will shower flower petals over the PML-N rally venue and various parts of the city.
The CAA has also issued a notification authorizing the use of the private jet for the petal shower, scheduled for 3:30 pm.
Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N supremo, arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Thursday, ahead of his highly anticipated return to Pakistan.
Nawaz, who had been in self-imposed exile since 2019 and had left for London during his seven-year jail term on medical grounds, is set to travel to Pakistan via Dubai on October 21.
Meanwhile, PML-N has released its new anthem ahead of Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan. PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz shared the party’s new anthem on the X-platform today.
The anthem is part of the PML-N’s top trend on X-platform “I will go to Minar-e-Pakistan” to welcome Nawaz Sharif.
Maryam Nawaz said, “This song perfectly represents the euphoric feelings of every Pakistani on the return of Nawaz Sharif. The anticipation, the excitement, the optimism, it is all palpable.”
Maryam Nawaz and many other PML-N leaders are seen in the gathering.
Furthermore, the clash between the PML-N and PTI supporters today reached its climax a day ahead of the landing of Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Saturday (Oct 21).
Both, the PML-N and PTI activists and supporters’ posts are top trending on the X-platform (earlier Twitter) on Friday.
PML-N’s group tweet “I will go to Minar-e-Pakistan” is one of the two top trends on X network today.
Meanwhile, PTI’s slogan “Justice is Dead” also appears on the top of this platform.
The activists and supporters of both arch-rival political parties are freely targeting the leaders of each other with sarcastic and abusive tones.
On Thursday, Islamabad High Court gave a protective bail to Nawaz Sharif till Oct 24 in NAB references regarding Al-Azizia and Avenfield cases.
Also, an accountability court in Islamabad suspended arrest warrants for Nawaz Sharif till Oct 24 in the Toshakhana reference case.
These judicial decisions have paved the way for return of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan on Oct 21.
