In October, the United States remained Pakistan’s top export destination, with shipments totaling $485.17 million, a 2.06% YoY increase from $475.39 million in the same period last year.

China followed, with Pakistan exporting goods worth $318.84 million, marking a significant YoY increase of 79.74% from $177.39 million. The United Kingdom ranked third, receiving exports valued at $170.64 million, up 2.97% from $165.72 million in the previous year.
Spain was the fourth-largest recipient, with exports totaling $149.58 million, reflecting a YoY increase of 19.04%. Other notable figures include exports to the U.A.E. Dubai at $140.22 million, up 18.93% YoY, and a decrease in exports to Germany by 18.02% YoY, amounting to $122.73 million. Exports to the Netherlands (Holland) stood at $116.03 million, down by 10.36% YoY.
In October alone, exports to the U.S.A. increased by 9.9% MoM, exports to China rose by 12.63% MoM, and exports to the U.K. saw a 1.77% MoM increase.
In the cumulative data for the first four months of the fiscal year 2024 (4MFY24), the U.S.A. contributed $1.86 billion in export receipts, compared to $2.13 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year (4MFY23).
China’s total exports from Pakistan in 4MFY24 amounted to $952.22 million, showing a substantial increase of 40.36%. The U.K. ranked third, with exports totaling $689.45 million in 4MFY24, a slight increase from $685.67 million in 4MFY23.
