Zionist Regime
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, delivered a comprehensive address during a meeting with Iranian sports champions, touching on various aspects, particularly the recent events in Gaza.
Highlighting the success of Hamas, a well-equipped resistance group, in confronting the heavily armed Zionist regime, Ayatollah Khamenei criticized the regime’s retaliatory actions as akin to an athlete resorting to violence after a loss.

Emphasizing that the Zionist regime’s oppressive measures would not go unanswered, the Leader conveyed his condemnation of their bombings and stressed that such actions would not prolong the regime’s existence. He commended Iranian athletes who refused to compete with representatives of the Zionist regime, attributing their actions to a principled stand against supporting a criminal and terrorist entity.
Expressing gratitude to Iran’s national football team for their symbolic gesture of solidarity by wearing keffiyehs, Ayatollah Khamenei acknowledged athletes who donated their medals to Gaza’s children and martyrs. He also praised the determination and hard work of Iranian medalists, highlighting specific instances of athletes taking principled stands.
The Leader criticized international sports centers controlled by “Arrogant Powers” for political bias, citing the unjust ban on a country’s participation while ignoring the plight of Palestinians. He expressed hope for a fair resolution to such discriminatory acts.
Ayatollah Khamenei concluded by thanking teenagers for promoting Iran’s bastani sport, envisioning its potential as an international sport with concerted efforts. His comprehensive address reflected a stance against injustice, support for Palestinian rights, and a call for fairness in the realm of international sports.
