ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) recently introduced a dedicated WhatsApp channel, designed to furnish citizens with current and precise information.
This forward-thinking endeavor by NADRA underscores its commitment to efficiently disseminate information to the public.
The real-time messaging capabilities of this initiative empower NADRA to swiftly convey updates and guidance to citizens, meeting the demand for immediate and reliable information.
The primary objective behind the launch of the WhatsApp channel is to counteract the spread of misinformation and foster trust between the government authority and the public.
Through direct engagement on this widely utilized platform, NADRA aims to ensure that accurate information reaches the public promptly, reinforcing transparency and reliability in communication.
Meanwhile, NADRA unveiled a special initiative targeting women, offering dedicated services every Friday.
The announcement, shared via their official channel, outlined the commitment of staff members to extend special support to women applying for National Identity Cards.
In their statement on X, the authority assured comprehensive assistance at every stage of the ID creation process, emphasizing the readiness of their diligent team to facilitate applicants.
Encouraging prospective CNIC applicants, NADRA advised them to utilize this specialized service by visiting their nearest NADRA Registration Center on Fridays to prioritize their registration procedures.
This initiative follows in the footsteps of previous efforts, such as the establishment of a separate counter for women at the driving license branch in Clifton, Karachi, aimed at providing enhanced and tailored services to women.
B-Form
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has recently addressed and clarified any misconceptions surrounding the policy of issuing the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), commonly known as the B-form.
In response to circulating reports, NADRA emphasized that there has been no alteration or contemplation of changes in the issuance policy for the B-form.
A statement released by NADRA stated, “Neither any sort of changes are under consideration in relation to the issuance of B-form, nor there are any changes.” This declaration aimed to put an end to speculations and provide reassurance to the public.
The Child Registration Certificate (CRC), or B-form, serves as a crucial registration document for minors below the age of 18. NADRA clarified that individuals can obtain the CRC by furnishing documented proof of the child’s birth from the union council.
