Krystyna Pyszkova, a young model hailing from the Czech Republic, has achieved the prestigious honor of being crowned the 71st Miss World during a splendid ceremony in Mumbai.
Emerging triumphant amidst stiff competition from 111 fellow contestants, 24-year-old Krystyna Pyszkova clinched the coveted title at the grand event hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre, situated in India’s vibrant entertainment hub, on Saturday. Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the reigning Miss World 2022, gracefully passed on the crown to her deserving successor.
In parallel, Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon was recognized as the First Runner-Up in this captivating beauty pageant.
The pageant’s preliminary rounds, encompassing disciplines such as fitness, beauty, talent, and public speaking, meticulously whittled down the initial 112 participants to a Top 40, then further narrowed to a Top 12 and finally to a Top 8.
Subsequently, the remaining eight contenders from India, Brazil, Botswana, Uganda, England, Lebanon, the Czech Republic, and Trinidad and Tobago engaged in a compelling Q&A session, culminating in the elimination of four contestants from contention for the esteemed title.
In a thrilling climax, following a round where the final four contenders presented their aspirations to business magnates from ‘Shark Tank India’, Pyszkova emerged victorious, triumphing over Yasmina Zeytoun of Lebanon, Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago, and Lesego Chombo of Botswana.
Beyond her triumph in the world of beauty, 24-year-old Pyszková distinguishes herself as a student, volunteer, and international model.
She is the esteemed founder of the Krystyna Pyszko Foundation and is concurrently pursuing dual degrees in Law and Business Administration while making strides in her modeling career.
