ISLAMABAD: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is set to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a one-day visit.
During his visit, the crown prince will engage with Pakistan’s political leadership, and key agreements are expected to be signed. He will hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
In a special ceremony at the Presidency, President Zardari will present Sheikh Khaled with Pakistan’s highest civilian honor, the Nishan-e-Pakistan. The event will also be attended by PM Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.
The crown prince’s aircraft is scheduled to land at Chaklala Airbase, where extensive arrangements are being made for his reception.
This visit is seen as a pivotal step in further strengthening the bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
