ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Asad Umar disclosed that the long-march of the party will reach Islamabad on Nov 11 instead of original plan of Nov 4.
In a message through his Twitter account, PTI leader said that on Nov 10, the long-march will reach Rawalpindi, from where the participants of the march will move to Islamabad.
Asad Umar, nonetheless, gave no reason for this unexpected delay of a week in long-march arrival in Islamabad. This decision, however, endorses the claims of Nawaz Sharif and other PDM leaders that PTI has failed to mobilise a required number of participants.
For example, on Tuesday, Nawaz Sharif ordered his younger brother Shehbaz Sharif who is Prime Minister of Pakistan, not to give face-saving to Imran Khan regarding the long-march.
Nawaz Sharif asserted that Imran Khan, who claimed to bring one million people to Islamabad, could not gather two thousand because of lack of masses interest driven by IK’s lies. Sharif said that frequent lies of Imran Khan forced the Director General of ISI Lt-General Nadeem Anjum to hold a press conference to share truth with the nation.
Importantly, the tweet of Nawaz Sharif has gone viral on social media. PTI leaders and supporters are lambasting Nawaz Sharif for overlooking the size of the participants of PTI marchers and making mockery of the long-march.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday (Nov 1), a senior PTI leader Asad Umar advised PTI chairman Imran Khan to extend long-march in Punjab and delay its entry in Islamabad.
As per original schedule, PTI set Nov 4 deadline to enter Islamabad _ however, after consultation in the party, PTI leader Asad Umar today announced that the long-march entry deadline in Islamabad is being extended to Nov 11, which has disappointed many people who were keen to see the long-march of the PTI in the federal capital once again.
