According to unofficial results, PTI has suffered a major setback in LG polls as JUI-F takes the lead.

The ECP accepted apologies of both the ministers and warned them from repeating this unbearable and unlawful attitude again.
It is for the first time that the JUI-F made its mark in the provincial capital, far from its traditional power base of southern KP.
Prime Minister said, “From now on I will personally be overseeing PTI’s LG election strategy in 2nd phase of KP LG elections & LG elections across Pakistan. InshaAllah PTI will come out stronger.”
Tarin won the seat after securing 87 votes while Shaukat Jamal Ameerzada of the ANParty and Zahir Shah of JUI-F got 13 votes each. PPP’s Mohammad Saeed did not manage to secure a single vote.
JUI-F is leading with 13 seats, followed by the ruling PTI (6), PML-N (3), Awami National Party (3), Jamaat-i-Islami (1) and PPP (1). Meanwhile, independent candidates have secured three seats.
Electioneering of all the political parties and candidates have entered the final stage where rallies and corner meetings are being held daily in every city council, tehsil, village and neighbourhood councils.
He said while he had done “whatever was in my capacity to help PTI in the quest to build a new Pakistan”, he “never gave a penny for the household expenses of Bani Gala” — a reference to the prime minister’s palatial hilltop residence in Islamabad.
