ISLAMABAD: In a key move to deepen Pakistan–U.S. cooperation in the digital economy, Bilal Bin Saqib, CEO of the Pakistan Crypto Council, met with Natalia Baker, the Acting U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, to explore shared goals in blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and youth empowerment.
According to an official statement, the discussion focused on equipping Pakistan’s dynamic youth with the tools and skills needed to thrive in emerging technologies. Both sides emphasized the importance of forging stronger links between U.S. institutions and Pakistan’s innovation landscape, particularly through entrepreneurship and technology.
“Pakistan is home to one of the world’s youngest populations — eager, ambitious, and ready to lead the future of Web3 and AI,” said Bilal Bin Saqib. “This is the time to invest in them, to connect them with global leaders, and to create real pipelines of opportunity between the U.S. and Pakistan.”
Discussions included plans to launch joint initiatives, talent exchange programs, and strategic memorandums of understanding (MOUs) between U.S. tech firms and Pakistani startups, with the aim of building sustainable partnerships that foster innovation on both sides.
