LAHORE/ISLMABAD: Maryam Nawaz, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) nominee for the Punjab chief ministership, unveiled her comprehensive plan for the province’s advancement on Wednesday.
Addressing a parliamentary party gathering in Lahore today, Maryam Nawaz underscored the historic importance of her nomination as the first woman Chief Minister of Pakistan and Punjab.
She attributed this milestone to the women of Pakistan, recognizing their crucial role in the nation’s progress.
“I extend this honor to every mother, sister, daughter, and girl child of Pakistan,” Maryam Nawaz declared, emphasizing her dedication to inclusive governance and empowerment.
Expressing appreciation towards party leaders Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz vowed to leverage their guidance and expertise in guiding Punjab towards prosperity.
She reaffirmed her commitment to upholding the party’s values and serving the people of Punjab with renewed vigor.
With a focus on prioritizing development at both governmental and party levels, Maryam Nawaz delineated her vision for addressing vital areas such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, law and order, agriculture, and information technology across all 297 constituencies of Punjab.
“Each constituency will be empowered to serve as a beacon of excellence, ensuring equitable attention and resources to every district, union council, or division,” Maryam Nawaz asserted, highlighting her determination to foster fair growth and advancement.
