FAISALABAD/ISLAMABAD: A domestic worker allegedly abducted his employer’s eight-year-old daughter in Faisalabad’s Paharnang area.
The suspect, identified as Hidayatullah, a resident of Kotli, reportedly lured the child, Zareesha, and fled using his employer’s motorcycle.
Maqsood Ahmed, the girl’s father, stated that Zareesha had been playing outside their home when the worker took her away.
Police have registered a case based on Maqsood’s complaint and launched a search operation to locate the child and apprehend the suspect. The incident has caused alarm in the neighborhood as efforts to secure the girl’s safe return intensify.
Separate Incident in Faisalabad
On Sunday, four suspects in a gang-rape case were killed during a police encounter in the Nishatabad police station area.
According to the authorities, the suspects—identified as Zahid, Naveed, Islam, and Qasim—were in police custody on remand for a robbery and rape case. The police were transporting them to Achkira village for evidence recovery when accomplices of the suspects ambushed the police team near Ghulam Muhammadabad Number Two.
In the ensuing shootout, the attackers reportedly killed the four suspects before fleeing the scene, police said.
