In a tragic and deeply disturbing incident, eight Pakistani nationals were brutally murdered in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, allegedly by an anti-Pakistan terrorist group. All victims hailed from Bahawalpur, Punjab, and were reportedly working as motor mechanics at a local auto repair shop.
Gruesome Attack in Remote Iranian Territory
According to sources, the victims were targeted approximately 100 kilometers inside Iranian territory, far from the Pakistan-Iran border. The assailants are believed to have bound the hands and feet of the victims before killing them in a brutal manner.
The deceased have been identified as:
- Dilshad, the owner of the auto repair shop
- His son Naeem
- Workers Jafar, Danish, and Nisar
The identities of the remaining three individuals are still being verified.
Pakistani Embassy Responds
Officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Iran are currently en route to the site to gather more information and assist in the repatriation of the bodies. Due to the remote and sensitive location of the attack, communication has been limited, and Iranian authorities have not yet released an official statement.
The embassy is coordinating efforts to confirm the identities of the remaining victims and ensure their remains are returned to their families in Pakistan.

The Sistan and Baluchestan province has long been a hotspot for militant activity, with several armed groups operating in the area that are known to oppose both Iranian and Pakistani state interests. While Iran has previously launched operations to neutralize such elements, this latest incident highlights ongoing vulnerabilities in cross-border security cooperation.
