Three tourists lost their lives, and 20 others sustained injuries when a vehicle, transporting them, plunged into a ditch in the northern Kalam area.
The incident occurred in the Pashmal area, situated in the north of the Kalam valley in Swat, during the tourists’ return journey from Kalam to Mingora.
Rescue teams are actively engaged in transferring the injured individuals to the hospital to provide immediate medical assistance.
In a separate incident last month, a bus carrying wedding guests skidded off the road in Swat’s Kabal Kotlai, resulting in at least 29 passengers, including women and children, sustaining multiple injuries.
The bus, en route to Ali Garam from Kabal, met with the accident, prompting rescue teams to rush to the scene. The injured were initially taken to Kabal Civil Hospital, with those in critical condition later being transferred to Saidu Sharif Central Hospital. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Owner Of Charsi Tikka Arrested Once Again For Harassing A Foreign Female In Peshawar
Meanwhile, Peshawar police arrested the owner of a famous restaurant Charsi Tikka once again after his new video with a foreign female tourist went viral on social media in which he was seen behaving inappropriately.
Tayyab Jan, a senior police official in Peshawar took notice of a new video trending on the internet and immediately arrested Nisar, the owner of the restaurant.
Earlier, police arrested Nisar on September 21 when his video with foreign national women became viral on social media showing him acting unsuitably with foreign tourists.
According to the FIR, some locals had complained that Nisar was involved in ‘obscene acts’ in front of his restaurant with foreign women.
Nisar repeated his act with another woman tourist which led him to jail.
