Misplacing the US Cipher
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency’s anti-terrorism wing has registered a case against PTI Chairman Imran Khan for misplacing the US cipher. Khan used the Cipher as a conspiracy behind the ouster of his government.
The FIA registered the case on August 15. The joint investigation team currently handling the cipher case will probe the case.

Meanwhile, Azam Khan, the former prime minister’s principal secretary, appeared before the JIT. He appeared before the JIT at the FIA headquarters as part of the ongoing investigation into the cipher controversy.
In July, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the FIA had summoned PTI Chairman Imran Khan regarding the cipher controversy.
This announcement came a day after Azam Khan dismissed the cipher narrative as “baseless”. He alleged that it was fabricated to divert attention from an impending no-confidence motion. The US cipher has turned into a mystery.
Meanwhile, in his farewell address, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also characterized the US cipher as an “elaborate conspiracy.”
