ISLAMABAD: The security officials have arrested a former employee of the Prime Minister House for his alleged involvement in audio-leak of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The person detained for audio leak was a member of the PM House staff. The security officials have formed a committee to probe the accused and find out details of the leaked audio.

Two months ago, someone leaked audios of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif which created panic in the PM House and the political circles.
The leaked audios also exposed the security of the PM House and the government took different measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan also demanded of the government to constitute a JIT to probe the bugging of PM House in Islamabad.

Importantly, in the first leaked audio, PM Shehbaz can be heard talking to a senior government official about the import of a power plan from India for in-law of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
Maryam Nawaz asked her uncle Shehbaz Sharif to facilitate the import of a power plant from India for her son-in-law.
Meanwhile, in the second leaked audio PM Shehbaz was talking to an unknown person for the appointment of a Special Assistant to PM (SAPM).
Also, in September, two more audios hit the social media wherein PM was talking about PTI MNAs resignations and former PML-N finance minister Miftah Ismail.
Worth noting is that in October, Interior Minister Rana Sanauallah already stated that the suspects have been identified who recorded audios and leaked to social media to achieve their ulterior motives.
