Four FC Personnel Martyred, 11 Injured in Gun Attack in Dera Ismail Khan
At least four personnel of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) were martyred and 11 others sustained injuries when unidentified gunmen opened fire near Kot Lalu in the Daraban tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Monday.
Initial reports indicate that the FC team was deployed for security duty at the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) office when they came under sudden attack by unknown assailants.
The injured were rushed to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dera Ismail Khan, where several are reported to be in critical condition.
Following the incident, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the attackers.
