The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has postponed today’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 fixture between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, originally scheduled to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The decision follows rising tensions between India and Pakistan, including recent Indian drone incursions near the venue.
In an official statement, the PCB confirmed that the match has been rescheduled in consultation with all relevant stakeholders. A new date will be announced in due course.
Fans who purchased tickets online will automatically receive refunds in their respective accounts. Those holding physical tickets for VIP galleries and enclosures can claim refunds at designated TCS Express Centres.
In a broader security-related move, the PCB has also decided to relocate the remaining PSL matches to Karachi. The decision was made following a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Interior, with concerns raised over the safety of players—particularly international participants—amid ongoing cross-border hostilities.
The developments come after a drone strike reportedly carried out by India hit parts of Rawalpindi, with one drone crashing near the stadium and injuring two civilians.
