HBO has announced several new cast members joining Season 4 of its acclaimed drama The White Lotus, with Helena Bonham Carter and Chris Messina among the latest guests checking into the show’s signature luxury — and often deadly — resorts.
“The next round of bookings has begun in France,” the show shared on its official Instagram account on Thursday in a joint post with HBO and HBO Max.
Other newcomers joining the season include Alexander Ludwig (Bad Boys, The Hunger Games), British comedian and actor Steve Coogan, model Marissa Long, actress and singer AJ Michalka, and actor Caleb Jonte Edwards.
“I’m in the middle of so many feelings and I’m unbelievably honored to be joining this with such incredible people,” Long said in an emotional Instagram carousel post. In one video, she was visibly teary-eyed, while in another she joked, “I’m going to vomit.”
“Let’s goooooo!!!” Ludwig shared in his Instagram story following the casting announcement.
The White Lotus has consistently drawn impressive viewership. Season 3’s finale, set in Thailand, was watched by 6.2 million U.S. viewers on its release night.
Past seasons have transported viewers to resorts in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand. While some returning cast members hoped for snowy locales or desert escapes, the upcoming season will unfold in the heart of France, promising another round of luxurious — and dramatic — escapades.
