ISLAMABAD: The interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Sanam Javaid, Mashal Yousafzai, and Ahad Shah has been extended until April 8.
The case, which pertains to petitions filed by the PTI leaders in connection with cases registered at the Hassanabdal police station, was heard by Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).
During the hearing, the court approved an exemption from attendance for Azam Swati due to his health issues. Swati had requested relief on medical grounds, which the court granted.
A police report regarding Salman Akram Raja indicated that the investigation into his case was still ongoing, with authorities noting that the report from the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing had not yet been received. According to the police report, the investigation would only be completed once the FIA’s findings were made available.
As a result, the court extended the interim bail of the accused and set the next hearing for April 8.
