Amid escalating tensions and ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Iran, the Government of Pakistan on Saturday issued a travel advisory, urging citizens to refrain from visiting Iran until further notice.
The advisory, issued in light of the intensifying Iran-Israel conflict, warned that the current security situation in Iran posed serious risks for travelers. Authorities stressed that travel to the country should be avoided temporarily due to the deteriorating regional security environment.
The Foreign Office confirmed that it is closely monitoring developments and remains in contact with diplomatic channels to ensure the well-being of Pakistani nationals currently residing in Iran.
“Efforts are underway to facilitate the safe and timely return of Pakistani citizens from Iran,” the advisory stated, adding that all necessary measures are being taken to guarantee their protection amid the crisis.
