Director Rafa Rashidi announced the exciting news on Instagram, sharing that the film secured the esteemed title of ‘Best Social Justice Short Film.’ The narrative, focusing on the intricate dynamics of a husband-wife relationship and addressing the issue of domestic violence, resonated strongly with both audiences and festival judges.
Rashidi extended heartfelt congratulations to the entire cast and crew, acknowledging their dedication and talent in bringing ‘Jamun Ka Darakht’ to life on the big screen.
