King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, the Monarch of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, will undertake a state visit to Pakistan on 15–16 November 2025 at the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
According to a statement by the Foreign Office, the visit reflects the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Jordan. The high-level visit aims to deepen political, economic, and cultural cooperation and elevate the strategic direction of bilateral relations.
During his stay, King Abdullah II will hold key meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, discussing the full spectrum of cooperation between the two countries. The agenda will cover political collaboration, economic partnerships, and cultural exchanges to further cement the brotherly ties.
Special Ceremonies and Bilateral Engagements
A special investiture ceremony will be held at Aiwan-e-Sadr to confer Pakistan’s highest civilian award upon His Majesty King Abdullah II. The visit is expected to expand the scope of bilateral cooperation and enhance collaboration across various sectors, reinforcing the enduring friendship between the two nations.
The Pakistani government views the visit as an opportunity to strengthen strategic partnerships and elevate Pakistan-Jordan relations to a more comprehensive, mutually beneficial level.
