ISLAMABAD – Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya has extended heartfelt condolences to Pakistan on behalf of Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah, following the devastating flash floods that caused heavy loss of life and property in the country’s northern regions.
In a telephonic conversation held with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday, the Kuwaiti foreign minister conveyed his country’s solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan during this difficult time. He reaffirmed that both the Kuwaiti government and its citizens stand with Pakistan and are prepared to provide assistance.
Kuwait Offers Support, Pakistan Expresses Gratitude
During the call, Foreign Minister Al-Yahya assured that Kuwait is ready to extend support and aid to help Pakistan recover from the damage caused by the floods. He emphasized Kuwait’s commitment to supporting Pakistan in times of crisis and reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar expressed deep appreciation for Kuwait’s message of sympathy and the offer of cooperation. He thanked both the Kuwaiti leadership and people for their solidarity and support during this humanitarian crisis.
The flash floods in northern Pakistan have resulted in significant casualties and widespread destruction, prompting both national and international responses to assist affected communities.
