Hearing Scheduled as FIA Investigation Continues
The Lahore High Court has set November 11 as the date to hear the bail plea of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, in connection with the ongoing case involving the promotion of online gambling applications.
According to the court roster issued by the registrar’s office, Justice Farooq Haider will preside over the hearing. The case has been listed for a regular session after previous notices were sent to all concerned parties. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) continues to probe allegations that Ducky Bhai used his social media platforms to promote illegal gambling apps, a violation of Pakistan’s cyber and financial regulations.
Ducky Bhai Remains in FIA Custody
On November 3, a Lahore district court extended Ducky Bhai’s judicial remand by 14 days following the FIA’s request for additional time to complete its investigation. During that hearing, the investigation officer informed Judicial Magistrate Naeem Watto that the earlier remand period had expired but the inquiry was still ongoing.
Accepting the FIA’s request, the court approved an extension, keeping Rehman in FIA custody for another two weeks. The agency is reportedly examining digital evidence and online activity linked to the alleged gambling promotions.
Ducky Bhai, one of Pakistan’s most popular YouTubers, has not yet issued a public statement regarding the allegations. His upcoming hearing at the Lahore High Court will determine whether he is granted bail as the investigation continues. The case has drawn significant public attention due to the influencer’s massive following on social media.
