Mbeumo Joins United in Major Summer Signing
Manchester United have completed the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford in a deal worth £65 million, with an additional £6 million in performance-based add-ons. The 25-year-old Cameroon international has signed a contract until 2030, with an option to extend for another year, marking United’s first major signing under manager Ruben Amorim.
A Rising Star in the Premier League
Mbeumo had a standout 2024–25 season, netting 20 goals and helping Brentford secure a strong 10th-place finish in the Premier League. Only Mohamed Salah, Alexander Isak, and Erling Haaland outscored him. Mbeumo will join the Red Devils on their U.S. pre-season tour, offering him a chance to bond with his new teammates and manager. United are set to play three matches: July 26 vs. West Ham in New Jersey, July 30 vs. Bournemouth in Chicago, and August 3 vs. Everton in Atlanta.
